UltraViolet gives consumers the right to stream or download entertainment content, such as movies or TV shows, to their devices. When a customer buys a Blu-Ray disc for a certain film, they also get the rights to the digital copy of that movie, so they need not pay separately for it. This gives them the added benefit of being able to watch the movie anytime, anywhere, even without the physical copy.
